Shop for the eligible items you want from Walmart and/or Sam’s Club in Fishkill, NY, and CIG Essentials will pick up your order, carefully package it, and ship it to your loved one at their NYS correctional facility.

SNAP/EBT: You may use your SNAP/EBT benefits for eligible merchandise purchased directly through Walmart or Sam’s Club. The CIG Essentials service and shipping fees are separate.

IMPORTANT: Selecting the correct pickup date and time helps ensure your Walmart or Sam’s Club order is not canceled before CIG Essentials is able to pick it up.
How It Works
1. Shop Walmart or Sam’s Club Online
Place your order on Walmart.com and/or SamsClub.com and select pickup at the participating Fishkill, NY location.
2. Designate CIG Essentials as the Pickup Person
When prompted to provide a pickup person, enter:
CIG Essentials
This helps the retailer identify CIG Essentials as the authorized person picking up your order.
3. Forward Your Confirmation Email + Order Information
Once your Walmart or Sam’s Club order is confirmed, forward the confirmation email to:
IMPORTANT: Please include your CIG Essentials order number and your Walmart and/or Sam’s Club pickup order number(s).
Also tell us which pickup you have:
Walmart + Sam’s Club • Walmart Only • Sam’s Club Only
Providing this information helps us correctly identify and coordinate all of your pickup orders.
4. Check-In May Be Required
Walmart or Sam’s Club may require customer check-in when we arrive.
CIG Essentials may contact you by text when we are ready to pick up your order if check-in, confirmation, or another action is required.
Please monitor your phone and retailer account around your scheduled pickup period so we can complete your pickup without unnecessary delays.
5. We Pick Up Your Order
Our team picks up your eligible order from the selected Fishkill location(s). Pickups are scheduled Sunday–Wednesday.
6. We Pack & Ship Your Order
After pickup, CIG Essentials carefully prepares and packages your items for shipment. Orders generally ship within 24–48 hours after pickup.
7. We Deliver to Your Loved One
Your package is shipped to your loved one at their NYS correctional facility.
Important Service Information
Service Fee: $99
The Premier Pickup Service fee is $99.
Flat-Rate Shipping: $5.99
Premier Pickup Service orders receive a $5.99 flat-rate shipping fee, including orders requiring pickup from both participating Walmart and Sam’s Club locations.
Separate Service
The Walmart+ & Sam’s Club Premier Pickup Service is separate from regular purchases made directly through CIG Essentials. Premier Pickup merchandise may ship separately from regular CIG Essentials orders unless eligible items are arranged to ship together.
Combined Package Weight
Items purchased directly from Walmart or Sam’s Club are not included in the package weight displayed in your CIG Essentials shopping cart. Customers are responsible for monitoring the total combined package weight to ensure the shipment remains within applicable facility limits.
NYS DOCCS & Facility Requirements
Customers are responsible for selecting merchandise that complies with applicable NYS DOCCS and individual facility package requirements.
Out-of-Stock Items
CIG Essentials is not responsible for merchandise that becomes unavailable or is out of stock at Walmart or Sam’s Club.
Refunds
Refunds for out-of-stock, canceled, substituted, missing, or unavailable Walmart/Sam’s Club merchandise must be handled directly through the retailer and are subject to the retailer’s policies.
Changes & Cancellations
Changes or cancellations must be completed through your Walmart or Sam’s Club account before CIG Essentials picks up the order. Once an order has been picked up, changes cannot be made through CIG Essentials.
Confirm & Monitor Your Orders
Please monitor your Walmart and/or Sam’s Club account for substitutions, out-of-stock notices, pickup delays, refunds, cancellations, check-in requests, or other actions requiring your attention.
